Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise, yet they will remain from 2 to 4 degrees below average in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and showers will fall over the coastal and the northwestern areas while snow will fall in the northern and al-Jazeera regions, warning against frost over the mountains and a-Jazeera and frost in some inland areas.
The wind will be of changeable direction to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and it will be active sometimes in the coastal and the southern regions and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in several Syrian provinces as follows: Hama 41 mm, Damascus and its countryside 7mm, Daraa 3mm, Quneitra 15mm, Homs 12mm, Tartous 39mm, Lattakia 34mm, Aleppo 11mm and Raqqa 5mm.
The expected temperatures will be as follows: Damascus 5/9, Daraa 6/10, Homs 3/0, Lattakia 7/11, Aleppo 2/0 and Deir Ezzor 1/6.
