Temperatures to rise, skies partly cloudy, fog expected in inland areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees in most areas as the country is affected by a low superficial air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and showers will fall over the coastal, northern and al-Jazeera regions, warning against fog in the inland areas.

The wind will be westerly in the western areas while it will be southeasterly in the eastern and al-Jazeera areas with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in several Syrian provinces over the past few hours as follows: Lattakia 38,8 mm, Aleppo 18mm, Hasaka 16mm, Raqqa 8mm, and Tartous 7mm.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 17-5, Daraa 17-5, Homs 16-3, Lattakia 19-15, Aleppo 14-15 and Raqqa 17-6.
