He added that the US pretext of Daesh terrorist organization is still remaining to justify its occupation of the Syrian oil wells.
“The Syrian army is actually the side that fought Daesh and our families in al-Jazeera region know the volume of sacrifices offered by the Syrian Army there ,” al-Moallem said.
He added that the Syrian army operations in Idleb is part of a Syrian policy and stance specified by President Bashar al-Assad to liberate every span of the Syrian territories.
Concerning a question about the pretexts of the Israeli enemy for launching aggression against Syria, al-Moallem said that these pretexts are rejected, adding “As Turkey does in the file of the Kurds and the US in Daesh… All are illusive pretexts to market their aggression on Syria.”
As for the possibility of holding a meeting with a Turkish delegation in Moscow, al-Moallem said that in light of the existence of a Turkish occupation of Syrian territories, “We should always think about the feasibility of this meeting… does it lead to liberating the lands from the Turkish occupation or it is just a mere meeting.”
