Al-Wahda beats al-Ittihad 2-1…Tishreen leads Premier League

Provinces, SANA-Syrian al-Wahda football team on Friday beat al-Ittihad counterpart 2-1 in a match that was held within the 9^th round of the Premier League.

The goals of al-Wahda were scored by Abdul Rahman Barakat in the third minute and Muhammad al-Hallaq in the 28th minute, while Mohammed Ghabbash scored al-Ittihad goal in the 62^nd minute.

With those results, Tishreen leads the Premier League with 22 points, al-Wathba 19, al-Itihad 17, al-Jaish 16, Hiteen 15, al-Wahda and al-Karama 14, al-Nawa’er 12, al-Tale’a 10, al-Shurta 9, al-Sahel 8, al-Fotuah 6, Jableh 4 and al-Jazira 1 point.
