Syria wins seven medals in Wrestling UWW Cadet & Junior Arab Championship

Baghdad, SANA_ Syria’s cadet team for free and Romanian wrestling harvested seven medals (four gold and three silver) in Wrestling UWW Cadet and Junior Arab Championship 2019 currently held in Iraq with the participation of Iraq, Yemen, Jordan and Morocco.

The gold medals gained by Mohammed Asad al-Din al-Osta in 60 kg weight category, Mohammed Fawaz (63 kg), Ali Nshiwati (92 kg) and Ammar Abu Alika (130 kg(.

Silver medals went to Bahaa al-Nakdali, Hilal Qamzani and Hani Qamzani in 55 kg, 72kg and 77 kg respectively.

Earlier, Syria’s junior team for free and Romanian wrestling harvested ten medals (three gold, five silver and two bronze) in different categories in the same Championship.
