Egypt supports Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity

Cairo, SANA-Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi underlined the need for respecting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“We have stressed our rejection of any attempt to use force and cut off parts of the Syrian territories or imposing a new status quo in the region, in violation of international laws and conventions,” al-Sisi said at a press conference with Cypriot counterpart and Prime Minister of Greece.

He added the tripartite meeting also discussed the latest developments in Syria with an assertion to support the Syrian-Syrian dialogue to reach a political solution to the crisis in the country.
