weapon cache left by terrorists found in al-Lajat in Sweida countryside

Sweida, SANA- Authorities on Tuesday found a weapon cache left behind by terrorists in al-Lajat area in Sweida northwestern countryside that contains large amounts of explosive belts, ammunition, machineguns, medicines and clothes.

A source told SANA reporter that in framework of the continued combing operations for securing the areas which had been liberated from terrorism and in cooperation with the locals, a large cache of ammunition left behind by terrorist organization was found.

The source added that the cache had been made inside one of the caves underground in a rocky area in al-Lajat area in Sweida northwestern countryside.

The source added that the cache contains 52 boxes of ammunitions of rifles, PKC machineguns and Dushka machineguns and RPG 7 rounds, B12 shells and various shells, some of them are Israeli-made and Western-made, in addition to explosive belts, clothes and medicines, some of which are Western, Saudi and Jordanian.
