Baghdad, SANA – Iraqi border outlets body announced Saturday that the Iraqi Government approved the reopening of al-Bukamal-al-Qaim border crossing between Syria and Iraq next Monday after completing all required procedures.
Director of media and relations at Iraqi border outlets Alaa-Eddin al-Qaisi told SANA correspondent in Baghdad, in a phone call, that Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi has approved the reopening on Monday of the al-Bukamal-al-Qaim border-crossing between Syria and Iraq to facilitate the movement of goods and people.
Al-Qaisi pointed out that the body completed all required technical, administrational and security procedures to ensure smooth movement between the two countries.
