Syria’s women basketball team ranks second in West Asia Championship

Amman, SANA- Syria’s women basketball team ranked second in West Asia Championship which was held in the Jordanian capital city of  Amman after it lost a match with its Lebanese counterpart 48-74.

On Sunday, the Syrian team won over the Iranian team 68-61 while it lost in the second round with its Lebanese counterpart 60-74, and it won in the opening of its participation in the Championship in a match with the Jordanian team 56-45.

Meanwhile, the Iranian team came in the third place in the Championship after winning a match with the Jordanian team 71-52.
