Damascus, SANA- Grand Mufti of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun said that war of terrorism waged on Syria came to dissuade it from its principles and steadfast stances, and Syria is paying the tax of maintaining its dignity, unity , and its rejection of hegemony.
Meeting a Cuban delegation headed by a member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba Jorge Cuevas Ramos on Sunday, Hassoun hailed Cuba’s stances in support of Syria, pointing out to the importance of enhancing the relations between the Syrian-Cuban peoples.
For his part, Ramos considered that what the Syrian people have achieved in victory over terrorism is a triumph of the just issues and the free peoples in the world.
