Deir Ezzor, SANA- The educational sector in Deir Ezzor province is witnessing a notable progress with regard to the number of the rehabilitated schools and supplying them with practical equipment in framework of the efforts exerted by the Government for improving the situation of the educational sector in the province.
About 268 have been put into service and they have been supplied with the required teaching staff and the needs of the educational process.
Touring a number of schools in Deir Ezzor to inspect the process of rehabilitating them, Education Minister Imad al-Azib was briefed on the progress of the educational process in the schools of al-Jafra town in Deir Ezzor countryside which started to receive students after rehabilitating them and supplying them with the educational tools and teaching cadres.
Minister al-Azib also visited al-Mutafawiqin Secondary School in Deir Ezzor and al-Furat Secondary School which is considered the oldest school in the province and he inspected the process of rehabilitating Sati’ al-Husary Secondary school in the liberated neighborhood of al-Hamidyia.
The Minister said that the visit comes in framework of the directives and plans of the Government’s work plan which considers the educational process one of its priorities.
“The educational process in Deir Ezzor is going well as the number of the opened schools reached up to 268 spreading across the province and they accommodate 100500 students and this number is continually increasing as the locals are returning to their cities and villages which have been liberated from terrorism,” Head of Deir Ezzor Education Directorate said.
