Patriarch Absi renews call for lifting unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria

Warsaw, SANA- Melkite-Greek Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and All East  Joseph Absi renewed the call for lifting the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria and for working on restoring security to the country.

Meeting Polish President Andrzej Duda at the Republican Palace in Warsaw , Absi called upon Poland to support the efforts which aim at lifting the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria which in the first place harm the Syrian people.

He also called upon Poland to play an effective role in solving the crisis in Syria and the regional states.

For his part, President Duda affirmed his country’s adherence to work on preserving the diversity and pluralism in the Middle East.
