Havana, SANA – Head of the National Assembly of People’s Power International Relations committee, Yolanda Ferrer, stressed Cuba’s solidarity with Syria in the regional and international forums, stressing importance of consolidating parliamentary relations between the two countries.
During her meeting with Syria’s Ambassador to Cuba Idris Maya, Ferrer pointed out to the deep relations between the two friendly countries, adding that the Cubans follow up with great attention the situation in Syria and look with admiration and pride to the achievements of the Syrian Army in eradicating terrorism.
For his part, Maya expressed Syria’s insistence on going ahead in combating terrorism, stressing importance of boosting relations between Syria and Cuba in all spheres.
