Damascus, SANA-The Syrian-handmade glass, the origins of this craft and the stages of its development in Syria have been detailed in a seminar hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh in the capital of Damascus.
The seminar focused on the 
history of glass manufacture, its Phoenician origins and its presence in Syria.
The seminar also highlighted the use of the Syrian glass in several historic places such as the Umayyad Mosque in addition to providing a summary on the origin of each type of Syrian glass.
