Damascus, SANA – Activities of the Medical Care Scientific Conference and exhibition 2018 kicked off at Damascus-based Dama Rose Hotel on Wednesday.
The three-day event will include 65 scientific lectures on pharmaceutical manufacturing and the latest developments in cardiovascular, dermatologic and gynecological diseases, diabetes and laboratory diagnosis.
15 scientific issues will be discussed during the conference which is organized by the Syrian Commission for Medical Specialties and United for Exhibitions and Conferences with the participation of 110 doctors and 29 medical equipment companies and pharmaceutical factories representing 136 Arab and foreign companies
Health Minister Assistant, Ahmed Khleifawi, stressed that the Health Ministry continued to provide healthcare and medical services to Syrian citizens despite the fact that 631 health centers and 52 hospitals went out of service due to terrorist attacks and ensured the delivery of medicine and vaccine convoys to all Syrian areas including hard-to-reach areas.
