Homs, SANA – Hundreds of Syrian youths participated in the “Peace Cycling” event which was in Homs city on Tuesday.
The event was launched by “Be the Dream” team for the third year in a row in cooperation with several teams and civil associations in addition to volunteers of different ages.
The participants started from the Culture Center in downtown Homs, passing through the neighborhoods of al-Malaab, al-Hamra, al-Ghouta, al-Waer, al-Qousour, and al-Khalidiya, finishing at the New Clock Tower.
The event aims at promoting the concept of peace and to affirm the return of normal life to all neighborhoods in Homs, according to Haneen Ahmed, the founder of “Be the Dream” team.
A number of the participants said that the event conveys the image of the true Syrian youths who have awareness and who love peace and life.
