Sousan: UN latest report on Syria biased and politicized

Damascus, SANA- Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister Ayman Sousan stressed that the 48th monthly report of the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs on Syria was biased, politicized and ignores the crimes committed by the terrorists and the US-led international coalition against the Syrian people.

Sousan, in an interview given to the Syrian TV on Friday, Sousan said that the aim of the latest mounting western political and media campaign against Syria was protecting terrorists in front of the progress achieved by the Syrian Arab Army in Eastern Ghouta.

He added that those who carry weapons against the Syrian State are outlaws, noting that the terrorist groups positioned in Eastern Ghouta fired about 2300 rocket and mortar shells lately, leaving a number of civilians martyred and others injured and causing material damage to their properties.

“The western countries shed crocodile tears on their tools of terrorists in Eastern Ghouta, but not on our people,” Sousan said.

The Syrian government seeks to liberate the families in Eastern Ghouta from the terrorists, he said, adding that it will not accept to keep civilians hostages and human shields by the terrorists.
