Budget investment of Higher Education Ministry discussed

Damascus, SANA- the Budget and Accounts Committee at the People’s Assembly discussed on Monday the 2018 investment budget of Higher Education Ministry which amounts SYP 22.824 billion.

The Committee’s members focused on the need to linking education with work market needs, expanding the applied colleges and encouraging students to study in them, as well as re-evaluating the open learning system at universities and reconsidering unified medical exam.

In his answers  to the Committee members’  inquires , Higher Education Minister Atef Naddaf asserted that the Syrian universities are making great efforts to provide the scientific  and education services for students , mainly in light of the crisis in Syria.
