Khamis lays cornerstone for project of offices for buying and selling cars in Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA- Prime Minister Imad Khamis on Sunday continued his visit to Lattakia province, accompanied by a governmental delegation, as he laid the cornerstone for the project of a market embracing offices for buying and selling cars at the Industrial Zone.

The project expands over an area of 40 dunums and its total cost is estimated at SYP 657 million.

Premier Khamis called for accelerating the accomplishment of this project and to continue the work at it regularly to guarantee that it will be carried it out according to the technical conditions and the defined deadlines of the contracts.

For his part, Chairman of Lattakia City Council Ahmad Wazzan underlined the importance of the project from the economic and the social dimensions.

Wazzan said that the project embraces 200 offices, the cost of each SYP 8 million and it embraces 8 car agencies, and each of them expands over an area of 260 square meters, in addition to exhibitions for international companies.

Later, Khamis inspected the projects of rehabilitating the Road of Textile Factory and the construction companies.
