Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain around average in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be cold at night especially at the mountains with high humidity in some of the inland areas.
The wind will be changeable with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Different amounts of rainfalls were registered in a number of the Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Lattakia 5 m and Homs 3 mm.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 27/14, Daraa 28/14, Homs 27/16, Lattakia 27/22, Aleppo 27/15 and Deir Ezzor 30/16.
