Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will drop to become slightly below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and thundershowers will fall over the northwestern and the coastal areas while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 29/14, Daraa 29/15, Homs 27/15, Lattakia 29/21, Aleppo 30/14 and Deir Ezzor 34/16.
