Second batch of Academic Programs students graduated

Lattakia, SANA – The graduation ceremony of the second batch of the Academic Programs students was held on Monday, under the patronage of Mrs. Asma al-Assad.

Representing Mrs. al-Assad, Minister of Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam attended the ceremony, which was held at Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts.

The students are graduates of the National Center for Distinguished Students who later continued their studies at Damascus University, Tishreen University or the Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology.

A short film documenting the university study course of the newly graduated students was screened at the event, where awards and appreciation certificates were distributed. Top students in all programs were honored.

The batch includes 56 students in various specializations; biomedical sciences, mechatronics, laser technology sciences, telecommunications engineering, electronic systems, material engineering sciences and information systems.

The first batch of Academic Programs graduates included 33 students, who were dispatched to continue their higher studies in Russia.
