Sweida, SANA – Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Minister Abdullah al-Gharbi inaugurated the development complex project located on the road between al-Kafr and Salkhad and Sweida province.
The complex will include a sorting and packing line, a freezer unit, preserves manufacturing facility, and retail outlets for agricultural products, has an estimated cost of SYP 1 billion, and is scheduled to open within 4 to 5 months before the apple season begins.
The Minister also conducted a tour in the province, visiting the primary bread production plant in Sweida, the Saraya mill, and retail outlets of the Syrian Trade Establishment, in addition to visiting a number of shops in Sweida city.
