Al-Jaafari: Syria has foiled plots of countries that support terrorism

Damascus, SANA-Syria’s permanent representative to the UN, Bashar al-Jaafari said that Syria has foiled all plots of countries that support terrorism in the region, so what is taking place here is considered as “liquidation of accounts” between these countries and Syria.

“The UN has lost its credibility now more than any other time, and the Arabs and Muslims had no weight, but they could be used against each others,” al-Jaafari added during a workshop held at the Syrian Radio & TV HQ.

He affirmed that Syria has “the higher hand in the fight against terrorism at the UN Security Council as a sovereign state.”

Al-Jaafari affirmed that the Syrian constitution won’t be formulated except by the Syrians, saying that the UN Special envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura has no paper about the constitution, but it was substituted by the meetings of technical experts.
