Russian Foreign Ministry fears new fabricated plays on chemical weapon use in Damascus Countryside in the coming days

Moscow, SANA – Russian Foreign Ministry expressed concern over new plays about chemical weapon use in Damascus Countryside in the coming days , clarifying that the West fears impartial investigation on khan Sheikhoun chemical accident because it would refute its claims about Damascus responsibility for the accident.

Russian Foreign Ministry’s director of Nonproliferation and arms control department Mikhail Ulyanov criticized on Monday at a press conference claims that Russia hinders the investigation on khan Sheikhoun chemical attack, reiterating that it is absolutely untrue and the west is afraid of impartial investigation because it would refute the accusation against Damascus.

Ulyanov said that there is no evidence on the presence of chemical weapons in Syria, adding that the facts of any violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention have not been approved.
