Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will continue to drop to become from 4 to 7 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy and thundershowers will fall over different areas across the country.
The wind will be southwesterly with a low speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will rise, yet they will remain slightly below average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers will fall over al-Jazeera area.
Different amounts of rainfalls were registered in some of the Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Damascus Countryside 5 mm, Homs 7 mm, Hama 10 mm, Tartous 6 mm, Lattakia 12 mm, Aleppo 6 mm, and Hasaka 11 mm.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 15/10, Daraa 16/11, Homs 16/8, Lattakia 20/13, Aleppo 17/8, and Deir Ezzor 20/11.
