Damascus, SANA – Tourism Minister Bishr Yazigi on Saturday met an Italian medical delegation headed by Dr. Jamal Abu Abbas, the representative of the Syrian community in Italy.
During the meeting, Yazigi said that the Syrians’ will to live will rebuild the country despite what the war has wrought, affirming that the aid rendered by the Italian delegation to injured people and humanitarian cases is an expression of the Italian people’s support for the Syrians.
For their part, the delegation members said that their visit to Syria, which is the second of its kind, aims to meet Syrians and witness the state of the health sector in the country, in addition to providing medical services to needy people, affirming that Syria will rise again and shrug off the dust of war.
