Damascus, SANA- Syria and Abkhazia discussed means of enhancing cultural cooperation between the two friendly countries.
This came during a meeting held between Minister of Culture, Dr.Lubana Mshaweh, and her Abkhazian counterpart Daur Kove on Thursdayvia video.
Both sides pointed out to the importance for activating the cultural relations between the two friendly countries, that bind them together.
The two ministers discussed the possibility of exchanging Cultural Days and Weeks in both countries, organizing Syrian cinematic shows in Abkhazia, and hosting Abkhaz folk and musical bands in Syria.
The Abkhazian Minister thanked Syria’s leadership and people for its stance and recognition of the independence of the Republic of Abkhazia.
