Temperatures to rise, skies partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by an air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general and it will be cold at night in most regions, warning against frost in the mountainous heights and from fog in some inland areas.

The wind will be southeasterly to easterly with a low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 17/7, Daraa 18/6, Homs 18/6, Tartous 22/10, Aleppo 15/4.
