Al-Moallem receives credentials of Turkabadi as Iran’s extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador

Damascus, SANA – Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem on Wednesday met the new Iranian Ambassador Jawad Turkabadi.

Minister al-Moallem received from Turkabadi a copy of his credentials as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Syrian Arab Republic.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the strategic relations between the two countries and means to enhance and develop cooperation in different domains, as the latest developments in the regional and international arenas have proven the importance of this partnership and the necessity of pushing it forward in the best interests of the two brotherly peoples and countries.
