Doha, July 13 (SANA) – President Ahmad al-Sharaa arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, on Monday to offer condolences following the demise of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, father of Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
President al-Sharaa was accompanied by Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Asaad Hassan al-Shibani, Minister of Culture, Mohammad Yassin al-Saleh, and Minister of Tourism Mazen al-Salhani.
The Qatari Amiri Diwan announced on Sunday morning the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the country’s former Emir, at the age of 74.
