Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Asaad al-Shaibani met Thursday with the Regional Director of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Middle East Office, Eng. Mohammad Abubakr Farea and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Chairman of the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority, Ashhad Al-Salibi.
The meeting addressed ways of modernizing Syria’s civil aviation sector and adopting new measures to strengthen this field.
The visit also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the ICAO and the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority, aiming to establish a framework for joint cooperation between the two parties.
