Damascus Feb. 21 (SANA) Syria and Turkey discussed developing partnership in training and qualification fields and preparing trainers, and coordinating efforts in several security specialties of mutual interest.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior stated via its Telegram channel on Friday that Dr. Hussein Salman, Director of the Qualification and Training Administration at the Syrian Ministry of Interior, reviewed with a delegation from the General Directorate of Security at the Turkish Ministry of Interior, headed by Major General Gökhan Demirtola, Director of the Foreign Relations Administration existing training programs and discussed mechanisms for exchanging expertise, and how to enhance personnel efficiency and elevate their professional readiness.
Both sides emphasized the importance of building upon existing institutional relations and activating technical and training communication channels, in line with the Ministry’s vision to develop the training system according to modern standards and effective strategic partnerships.
This meeting comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Interior and developing specialized training programs, in line with the requirements of modern security work and enhancing the capabilities and efficiency of Syrian security personnel.
