The Syrian government affirms its unwavering commitment to the principle that “Syria is inseparable”

Damascus, SANA-The Syrian government affirmed its welcome of any path with the Syrian Democratic Forces that would enhance the unity and territorial integrity of the country, reiterating its unwavering commitment to the principle of “One Syria, One Army, One Government,” and its categorical rejection of any form of partition or federalism.

The Syrian government said in a statement: In light of the recent developments related to the implementation of the agreement signed with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the Syrian government stresses its welcome of any path that would boost the unity and territorial integrity of Syria, and appreciates the U.S. efforts exerted in sponsoring the implementation of this agreement, based on its concern for the stability of the country and the unity of its people.

“The Syrian state renews its unwavering commitment to the principle of “One Syria, One Army, One Government,” and categorically rejects any form of partition or federalism that conflicts with the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic” the statement added.

It noted that the Syrian Army is the unifying national institution for all citizens, and the state welcomes the joining of Syrian fighters from the SDF to its ranks, within the approved constitutional and legal frameworks.

In its statement, the government said: While expressing its understanding of the challenges facing some parties within the SDF, it warns that any delay in implementing the signed agreements does not serve the national interest, but rather complicates the situation and hinders efforts to restore security and stability to all Syrian regions.

“The Syrian state emphasizes the necessity of the return of official state institutions to the northeast of the country, including service, health, education, and local administration institutions, to ensure the provision of basic services to citizens, end the administrative vacuum, and enhance societal stability,” the statement added.

It said that experience has proven that relying on separatist projects or foreign agendas is a losing bet. What is required today is a return to a unified national identity and engagement in the project of a comprehensive Syrian national state.

The Syrian government underlined that the Kurdish component was and remains an integral part of the diverse Syrian fabric, emphasizing that the rights of all Syrians, regardless of their affiliations, are protected and respected within state institutions, not outside them.

The government concluded its statement by renewing its call for all national forces to unite and work together under the banner of the homeland, far removed from narrow interests or foreign interference, to achieve a safe, unified, independent, and fully sovereign Syria.
