Madrid, SANA-Spain has strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted the Mar Elias Church in Damascus on Sunday, claiming the lives of several civilians and injuring many others.
“The Government of Spain strongly condemns the terrorist attack that targeted the Mar Elias Church and expresses its solidarity with the victims’ families, its sincere condolences, and we also wish the injured a speedy recovery.” the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a post on X platform.
The ministry reaffirmed Spain’s commitment to supporting peace and stability in Syria.
