President Ahmad al-Sharaa issues decree increasing salaries of civilian and military employees by 200%

Damascus, SANA-President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmad al-Sharaa, issued a Decree No. 102 of 2025, stipulating a 200% increase of the salaries and fixed wages of employees.

The increase covers the salaries of civilian and military employees in ministries, departments, public institutions, public sector enterprises and establishments, and other administrative units, as well as public sector entities and joint ventures with at least 50% state ownership.

He also issued a decree stipulating a similar increase in the salaries of retirees.
