Emergency and disaster affairs minister explores ways to enhance joint cooperation with OPCW delegation

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed al-Saleh, explored with a delegation from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), headed by the Director of the Organisation’s Private Office, Nihad Ali Koufishi, ways to strengthen joint cooperation and support efforts aimed at eliminating chemical weapons in Syria.

During a meeting held at the Ministry’s headquarters, both sides emphasized the importance of coordinated action to ensure civilian protection and prevent the recurrence of chemical weapons use.
