Doha, SANA-Qatar strongly condemned the Israeli airstrike that targeted the vicinity of the presidential palace in Damascus.
“The State of Qatar warns that the occupation’s repeated strikes on Syria and Lebanon and the continuation of its brutal war on Gaza would ignite a cycle of violence and chaos in the region,” the Qatari Foreign Ministry said in a statement, calling on the international community to pressure the occupation to comply with international legitimacy resolutions.
Qatar reaffirmed its firm stance in support of Syria’s sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity.
