Homs, SANA-The Homs Security Department announced the arrest of criminal Major General Assaf Issa al-Nissani, who is involved in war crimes against the Syrian people.
The Interior Ministry stated in a Telegram post that the criminal al-Nissani held several field military positions within the Military Operations Command in Wadi al-Deif in the Idleb countryside.
It added that the criminal al-Nissani oversaw artillery positions at the summit of Jabal al-Arba’in near Ariha, commanded the military operations room in the Kafr Nabudah area and its surroundings, and assumed command of the 8th Division and the presidency of the Security Committee in Hama governorate.
The Ministry added that the criminal al-Nissani was known for his direct implementation of policies of oppression, crime, and destruction. He was close to the criminal Suhail Al-Hassan, having formed one of his criminal arms on the ground.
The criminal will be referred to the competent judiciary to receive justice for the violations and crimes he has committed against the Syrian people over a decade.
