Ohnmacht : EU intends to fund demining activities in Syria

Ohnmacht : EU intends to fund demining activities in Syria

Brussels, SANA-Chargé d’Affaires of the European Union Delegation to Syria, Michael Ohnmacht, announced that the EU intends to fund mine action activities in Syria.

In a tweet on his X account, Ohnmacht referred to his visit to a school in Darayya city, Damascus countryside, and said that mine-risk education in schools is essential.

Ohnmacht expressed his thanks to the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and the educational authorities in Syria for their excellent organizing.
