Baghdad, SANA- Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and his French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot stressed the need to support Syria’s stability and territorial integrity.
“We support the stability of Syria and establishment of a comprehensive political process in it,” Hussein was quoted as saying by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) during a joint press conference with Barrot on Wednesday in Baghdad.
Hussein said that Syria’s stability is important for Iraq, Europe, and the region in general.
For his part, Barrot stressed the need to support Syria’s unity and sovereignty, noting the importance of the political process including all components.
