New York, SANA -Qatar reiterated its support for the sovereignty, national unity, and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic, stressing the importance of supporting international efforts to achieve the aspirations of the Syrian people.
That came during a meeting of the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations, Alia Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani, with the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Syria, Geir Pedersen, at the center of the Permanent Mission in New York, according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA).
The Permanent Representative of Qatar stressed the importance of supporting the Special Envoy’s efforts to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people for security and stability.
