Ankara, Sana-Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi warned of the increasing Israeli escalation and the occupation entity’s attempts to expand its regional influence at the expense of Arab countries.
“If you look at Israel’s policies across the region, from Gaza to the West Bank, Lebanon and Syria, we see a pattern of escalation under false pretenses to achieve a strategic goal of regional expansion at the expense of neighboring Arab countries,” Safadi was quoted as saying by Anadolu Agency during a panel discussion at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum 2025 in Turkey, warning that the future of the region cannot be left hostage to the ideology of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
