Paris, SANA-France welcomed the announcement of the formation of the new Syrian government, expressing its readiness to continue supporting Syria.
The French Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday that: “France welcomes the formation of a new government in Syria. In accordance with the principles set out in the declaration adopted in Paris on February 13 following the international conference on Syria, the European Union stands ready to support the Syrian authorities in achieving a peaceful and inclusive political transition that ensures the preservation of pluralism and the rights of all Syrians, and allows Syria to regain its unity and sovereignty.”
