Damascus, SANA-Director of the General Establishment for Social Insurance, Hassan al-Khatib, revealed Monday that retirement pensions for March of the current year have been disbursed, with a total amounting to 135 billion Syrian pounds.
In a statement to SANA, al-Khatib explained that the number of retirement pensions disbursed exceeded 900,000.
He pointed out that the establishment is working in the coming period to disburse the pensions of retirees in the governorates of Hasaka and Qamishli for the past three months, with an amount of approximately 23 billion Syrian pounds.
Al-Khatib noted that the Establishment branch in Deir Ezzor will be tasked with activating the pensions for the mentioned branches and disbursing the pensions to both ATMs and post offices.
