Abu Dhabi, Sep. 27 (SANA) Syrian Interior Minister, Anas Khattab, met on Sunday Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Chairman of the National Anti-Narcotics Authority, on the sidelines of the U.N. Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
The meeting focused on ways to enhance security cooperation and coordinate joint efforts between Syria and the United Arab Emirates.
Syria-UAE relations have expanded since the fall of the ousted regime in December 2024, with the two countries increasing high-level political contacts and cooperation in economic, investment, development and security-related fields.
