Quneitra, Sept. 22 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces detained a civilian west of al-Rafid town in southern Quneitra countryside on Tuesday.
SANA’s reporter in Quneitra said Israeli forces detained the man while he was grazing sheep and took him into the occupied Syrian Golan. The reason for his detention remains unknown.
Earlier, Israeli forces fired artillery shells at the outskirts of Abdin village in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside, with no injuries reported. Four flares were also fired over the area.
Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes, detentions, land-clearing operations and attacks involving artillery and other weapons.
