Damascus, Sept. 7 (SANA) Syria extended its congratulations to the government and people of Brazil on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day.
In a statement issued Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed its best wishes to Brazil for continued security and stability, emphasizing Syria’s keenness to strengthen ties of cooperation between the two nations across various sectors.
Brazil officially gained its independence on Sept. 7, 1822.
