Quneitra, Sep. 1 (SANA) Israeli forces detained a young Syrian man on Tuesday while he was tending sheep west of al-Rafid town in the southern Quneitra countryside.
SANA’s reporter in Quneitra said an Israeli military force detained the man and took him into the occupied Syrian Golan.
The incident comes days after Israeli forces fired three artillery shells at the area surrounding Bat al-Warda Hill near Beit Jinn in the western Damascus countryside on Aug. 29.
Israeli forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, including raids on homes, arrests, attacks and the bulldozing of farmland.
