Damascus, Aug. 3 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa received Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani at the People’s Palace in Damascus on Monday.
President Barzani, who is on an official visit to Syria, will hold talks covering bilateral relations and a range of issues of mutual interest aimed at enhancing cooperation and coordination across various fields.
The visit comes as part of ongoing engagement between the two sides and discussions on ways to develop relations and strengthen cooperation in service of mutual interests.
